Prunus laurocerasus ‘Novita’ – to screen

Cherry Laurel

Prunus laurocerasis ‘Novita’ is a large evergreen shrub or small tree, grown primarily for its glossy foliage. It is an architectural plant which provides a year-round backdrop or hedge/screen.

The large leaves contrast nicely with the white, scented flowers which appear in spring which are loved by bees and other pollinators. These are followed by small berries that turn to a deep purple-black colour in autumn.
