Notocactus leninghausii

Notocactus leninghausii – sometimes called Parodia leninghausii – is a marvellous cactus for a sunny windowsill or conservatory. It is covered in soft, golden yellow spines and will slowly grow from the short globe shape into a short column and, ultimately, make new plants around the base. But whatever the size, it will produce clusters of lemon yellow flowers around the top once settled in.
