kangaroo fern, hound's tongue
A bold indoor trailing fern perfect for a humid room and shady spot. This evergreen fern originates in New Zealand and can also be found in the rainforests of Australia. The deep green glossy leaves are deeply incised with a black leafstalk. This fern can reach 3 foot over time.
The Microsorum diversifolium will thrive when grown surrounded by other plants, in either a hanging basket or a shallow pot which will allow the attractive rhizomes to creep over the edge.
Microsorum diversifolium care-
Position- Part to full shade.
Temperature- Dislikes the cold, best kept at around 20 celsius.
Watering- Needs average amounts of regular water but take care not to over water or allow to sit in water especially in winter.
Feed- Ferns require little feed, however a good quality house plant fertiliser may be used at a weak strength through the growing season. No need to use any feed in the winter months.
Grooming- Carefully remove any browned off or damaged leaves. Wipe fronds down gently on a regular basis in order to keep the fern dust free and looking fresh.

Palm trees are one of the most popular choices for indoor plants to grow. They provide the majestic beauty of a tropical garden and the ease of care. The less mature palms can be used as a desk plant for a small office and even in bathrooms of some homes.
An inevitable problem encountered by growing palms indoors is the amount of dust that builds up on the leaves over time.
The soil in the pots should be kept moist and never be allowed to dry out. During the summer months you will be watering as much as twice per week to maintain moisture levels, whereas in winter you should water sparingly.
