Care & Size Guidance

Care & Size Guidance

Ficus lyrata requires bright indirect light, good humidity and consistent temperatures. It has a tendency to drop leaves in less ideal conditions.

Water when the top few cm of soil is dry to the touch, and make sure the soil never sits in standing water.

Feed in the growing season and be sure not to over water in the darker months. It may be advisable to turn regularly if the sunlight reaches it from one side only, and foliage is likely to burn if kept in too direct sun – for instance, too close to south facing windows.
