Plant Biography

Unlike other climbing bindweeds, this is a stunning low evergreen shrub with shiny silvery grey-green foliage and pink buds unfurling into large white flowers from late Spring to Summer. It has a compact growth habit and will cascade beautifully over the sides of walls or raised beds. A perfect partner for blue and pink flowers, combining well with other Mediterranean characters like Stachys, Eryngium and Lavender. The downy silver foliage is an evolutionary adaptation to extremely sunny climates, and gives a hint at what a sun lover this species is.
