Koeleria glauca is a compact, clumping semi-evergreen grass that grows into a tight bun of blue-green almost succulent foliage.  Open oaty heads of silvery flowers emerge above the leaves and slowly fade to ochre.  Grows anywhere – sun or shade, hot or cool, dry or moist – but the leaves have the most compact habit and string colour in a dry sunny position.
