We are delighted when people come to visit us. For your convenience, we will tag your plants and get them ready for you to collect.
You can tell us when you will come to collect in the field "Special Delivery Instructions" or call us during our opening hours.
You'll also find on our website plants that are available for "Collection in store only". From our past experiences with delivering certain plants, because they are very fragile, they might get broken or bruised in the delivery process. Therefore, we've restricted their delivery. If you really want one of these plants, you will need to visit the Palm Centre for collection.
Jump the queue and get your order tomorrow morning! If you place your order before noon and chose the PRIORITY Tomorrow Morning" delivery option at checkout, we'll make sure your order jumps the queue and will be fast tracked in despatch.
This service comes at a premium, it's not available for all orders and not available for certain postcodes or delivery dates (weekends, bank holidays etc). Orders received on Friday before noon will be despatched for delivery on Monday morning.

Sit back, relax, the order is on its way to you. We will send your order to your home or work address. Simply select in “Your Wheelbarrow” the first option for delivery, which will adjust depending on the total weight of your order.
We do our best to send out your order within 5 working days, but it may be longer in our busy periods. Don’t worry, we will advise you by email when it’s being despatched.
Usually, we like to relax too so we don't deliver at the weekends as the delivery surcharge is quite high. However, if there’s any reason you insist, we are happy to quote for Saturday delivery.
Our partner couriers aim to deliver all the boxes up to 30 kg the next working day after dispatch, and the larger orders packed on pallets within 2 working days. However, depending on the road traffic, technical conditions that are independent of us, the delivery timeframe is NOT guaranteed. Please let us know if you need a guaranteed delivery and we will try to accommodate that.
We pack our plants with care in order to keep them in best possible conditions during their journey to you. We use several couriers, who handle our packages with care and are very reliable.
You don’t need to wait at home for our courier to deliver. We don't ask for a signature when a delivery drop is made. You can use the field "Special Delivery Instructions" to indicate to the driver where he/she can leave the goods so as to keep them safe until you return home.
Our plants are special: small, big, light and heavy, compact or fluffy. Because we work with all these type of plants, your delivery charge will depend on the total order weight, not on the volume. We will not pack them tight to save space, but leave room for the plants to breathe during transport.
The delivery costs reflect the fact that packing live plants requires extra care and protection. The packages come in all shapes and sizes and it results in extra handling work by our courier partners.
If you choose come and “collect in the store”, there’s no charge for you. We might even invite you for a cuppa, while the plants are being prepared for transport.
If you choose Standard Delivery though, you can check the charges in the table. But you don’t have to memorize them; your virtual Wheelbarrow will automatically keep track of your order’s total weight and add the correct fee. Although we have a new delivery fee for all orders under £50 that will cost you only £6.95.
Priority Next Day Delivery is available only for mainland UK and London, for boxes up to 30kg. In order to be eligible for this service the order needs to be received before 12 PM, Monday to Thursday. The delivery is due the next day (Tuesday to Friday), before 12 PM. Service is available only where the order day and the delivery day are not bank holidays.
Priority Next Day delivery fee is not refundable.

Due to the nature of the consignments, the courier's drivers are not insured to carry goods through your property. The standard delivery location is the border of your property or the entrance of a communal space.
Vouchers and small boxes can be posted through the letterbox, provided there is unrestricted access to it.
Large boxes and tall plants can be delivered to the front door (of your property or communal door/gate). If the driver considers that it's not safe to leave the consignment, it will take it back to the depot and leave you a card with further instructions.
Pallets are delivered kerb side or on your driveway. The pallet carrier will not unwrap the plants unless you are present to acknowledge the delivery.
They MAY help to carry the unwrapped pallet to a more convenient location on your property, provided they have proper access (wide enough space, level access, etc.).
When receiving a pallet, please make sure you have the proper help available as the plants are likely be heavy and can cause injury if not handled properly.
If your order is due to be delivered by The Palm Centre's delivery service, the following rules apply:
The delivery charge covers the journey from The Palm Centre to the front of your property, kerbside or front lawn.
Our delivery team will not take the goods through your house or building, as they are not insured for this.
The delivery can be made to the entrance of the back garden, but only if there is straightforward level step-free access.
Under no circumstances will the delivery team plant in the ground, repot or otherwise alter the conditions in which the goods are delivered.
We must be informed of any potential obstructions that might make it difficult to deliver (road works, narrow lanes etc). Failure to do so, will result in plants being returned to The Palm Centre and the order refunded, minus the delivery cost.
Currently, we deliver only to the UK Mainland. Though, there are a few postcodes which are excluded, where we don’t deliver either: AB31-56; PH15-41; FK20-21; KW1-14; IV1-41 & 52-54, IV57-63, and PA21-39.
We currently do not deliver to UK Islands (Island of Man, Jersey, Isle of Man) and Northern Ireland.
Sending very small orders to mainland Europe is costly and not practical for our despatch system. For this reason, we can only accept larger orders which justify the use of a pallet. The estimated total value of plants that will fit on a pallet is between £300 and £500. Unfortunately, there is a height restriction of 220 cm.

When dealing with large orders, more mature plants or very tall plants that cannot be delivered via regular express courier or pallet courier, alternative arrangements need to be made and this incurs a surcharge.
The website will not calculate a delivery fee for your order, but instead will allow us to take your order and highlight it so we can give you quote for a dedicated delivery.
From time to time, you might see this note attached to some of our products. This applies for all of our special deliveries and is due to the fact that when sending large plants or mature specimens, we may have to arrange a specialist carrier.
