Plant Biography

Known as Our Lord’s Candle, it is very common in the wild where it grows from Mexico to California. It spreads from suckers and by seeds, which are produced in prodigious quantities.

The tall and fragrant spike of this yucca is so spectacular in form as it is used to attract moths, which it relies on for pollination.
