Anemone ‘Honorine Jobert’

Anemone x hybrida ‘Honorine Jobert’ is a slowly spreading, rhizomatous perennial with largely evergreen, lobed leaves and producing tall sprays of white, yellow-centred, daisy flowers from late summer through autumn. This is one of the oldest and most resilient of the hybrid Japanese Anemones, raised in France 150 years ago and just as popular today. It will grow in any situation but at its best in light shade, where it can be left to slowly wander producing its fresh white flowers to freshen the border at a time when other plants start to fade.
