Plant Biography

Geranium ‘Johnson’s Blue’ is a herbaceous perennial with deeply dissected parasol-shaped leaves and, throughout spring and early summer, profuse quantities of blue-mauve, dark-veined flowers. It will spread via runners to make a good weed-suppressing carpet and is at its best when allowed to wander through taller shrubs in a woodland setting.

Once it has started to fade in June a shearing will keep it neat and promote a second flush of flowers in late summer. Cranesbill ‘Johnson’s Blue’ is a tough and valuable plant for many situations.
