A fresh, green ground cover bamboo which only grows to about a foot (30cms) tall, and spreads rapidly to colonize the area allotted to it. Use bamboo root barrier to prevent it spreading beyond this. Also useful for pot culture and can easily be divided at repotting time. Shade tolerant. Can be trimmed with hedge trimmer or shears. MG.
