Opening hours are from 9am to 5pm , seven days a week (in winter we close at dusk).

Our nursery is at Ham, between Richmond and Kingston-upon-Thames, in Surrey, southwest of London. We are close to the River Thames and Ham House, and not far from Richmond Park. Our opening hours are from 9am to 5pm (or dusk, whichever is earlier), seven days a week. We are blessed in this area with nice restaurants and pubs ('best steak and kidney pie in England'), and the River Thames and stately home Ham House (our neighbours) are right next door. Perfect for a picnic! Here's how to get to us:

From Central London:
Drive out on the A4 (Cromwell Road). Go over the Hammersmith Flyover, and at the next roundabout (Hogarth) bear left towards Richmond. After crossing Chiswick Bridge, go straight on at the traffic lights and turn left at the next roundabout. You will see a petrol station on the far corner. This is Manor Road. It goes over a level crossing, (where the lights are ALWAYS red!), then traffic lights, then up a hill (Queens Road). At the top you will see the Royal Star & Garter Home. Turn left at this mini-roundabout, then immediately turn right to go down the hill. Stay on this road. After about a mile take Sandy Lane on your right. At the far end of Sandy Lane turn right into Ham Street, at the Royal Oak Pub. We are about 300 yards down on the right hand side opposite Riverside Drive, behind a small green.

From the North, and East:
The North Circular Road (A406) is your best bet. Turn right (west) onto it from M1, A1, A10, M11 etc. You will be heading in an anti-clockwise direction. After the Chiswick Roundabout, stay on the North Circular Road as it crosses over Kew Bridge. Bear right at the traffic lights (Kew Gardens is on your right) and take the next turning left, called Kew Gardens Road. Stay on this road which becomes Sandycombe Road, crosses a roundabout, and is now Manor Road.

From the West:
M40 & M4: Turn off (right/west) at North Circular Road, following signs for Kew Bridge. Cross the bridge and bear right at the traffic lights (Kew Gardens is on your right) and take the next turning left, called Kew Gardens Road. Stay on this road, which becomes Sandycombe Road, crosses a roundabout, and is now Manor Road. It goes over a level crossing, then traffic lights, then up a hill (Queens Road).

From the South West:
M3 (A303): The motorway becomes the A316 and after Twickenham (look out for the Rugby ground) passes Richmond by a long, narrow roundabout. Ignore the first exit (Kew) and carry on for half a mile, turning right at the next roundabout. There is a garage on the left. The road you turn into is Manor Road. It goes over a level crossing, then traffic lights, then up a hill (Queens Road).

From the South
There are a number of ways to get to Kingston, depending on where you are coming from. Once on the one-way system there, take the road for Richmond (A307). After about a mile look out for a petrol station where you turn left into Dukes Avenue leading into Riverside Drive. After a mile and a half, when you can go no further, our gates are opposite you, behind a small green.

From the South East:
Take the M25 leaving it at Junction 9, the Kingston turn-off, and proceed as above.

By Public Transport
Go to Richmond Tube Station (District Line). Look out for 'Richmond' on the front of the train, as the line forks. From outside the station, take bus number 371. Alight at the Royal Oak Pub at the end of Sandy Lane in Ham. Turn right here into Ham Street, and our nursery is about 300 yards along on the right hand side, behind a small green and opposite Riverside Drive.

From London Heathrow Airport
By public transport:
Take the 'tube' (Underground) from the airport to Hammersmith. Alight here and change on to the District Line. Make sure you see 'Richmond' on the front of the train. At Richmond take bus 371 as above.
By road: Take the M4 east towards Central London. Leave the motorway at the North Circular Road, cross Kew Bridge and bear right at the traffic lights (Kew Gardens is on your right)take the next turning left at the next lights, called Kew Gardens Road.
