Juveniles of this species are similar in appearance to that of E. altensteinii but as they become more mature the differences become more apparent. E. lebomboensis has finer foliage with closely packed leaflets which overlap downwards. It is very ornamental and will withstand light frosts. Prolonged freezes may damage the foliage so covering with fleece or hessian may be necessary during severe weather! Ideal conservatory plant. MG
