From Japan, with standing -22c. Grows to 1m. Semi-shade to full sun ideal. Moderate spreading habit. Short and broad leaves with visible veins. A completely unique bamboo in its appearance. Slender stems have a slight zig-zag appearance. Easily trimmed and shaped, perfect for low hedging, clumps, bordering, undergrowth and pots.
