Phormiums are exotic-looking, clump-forming, evergreen plants with erect, sword shaped leaves in a variety of colours. Upright flower-spikes appear annually. Can usually tollerate -5C. Grow in moist fertile soil.
The ‘Silver Strike’ has dark mauve leaves with a silvery back and grows to about 150cm (6ft). MG
