Phormiums are exotic-looking, clump-forming, evergreen plants with sword shaped leaves in a variety of colours. Colourful, upright flower-spikes appear annually adding to the plants' attractiveness. Can usually tollerate -5C. Grow in moist fertile soil.
The 'Evening Glow' has purple/pink leaves, grows to about 1m (3ft). MG
