Phormiums are exotic looking, clump forming, evergreen plants with erect, sword like leaves in a variety of colours. Colourful, upright flower-spikes appear annually adding to the plants' attractiveness. Can usually tolerate -5C. Grow in moist fertile soil.
The 'Tenax' has deep green leaves and is the tallest growing, reaching about 180cm (6ft). MG
