Fargesia jiuzhaigo also known as the Strawberry Fountain bamboo has a very elegant shape with thin canes and is very colourful. The small leaves, at first purple, later turn to softer green. They are bushy and hang over like fox tails. Grows to about 2 or 3m only so useful in the smaller garden.
