Phormiums are exotic-looking, clump-forming, evergreen plants with erect, sword shaped leaves in a variety of colours. Upright flower-spikes appear annually adding to the plants' attractiveness. Can usually tollerate -5C. Grow in moist fertile soil.
The ‘Amazing Red’ has fairly upright, arching, strap-shaped leaves that are reddish brown, sometimes edged with red.
